[Natalie]: coming to meet u
I stared at the message. I typed back:
[Me]: what, here?
I stared at the screen.
Everything that had transpired in the past few minutes started to swirl around in my head. Ethanâs changed mood. His text -
- had he gotten it before or after mine? -
his vacant stare, his loss of love for strippers, his re-ignited libido, his text message
His text message.
His rejuvenating, invigorating text message.
The terrible, cold feeling I had been getting so often began to slide over me from head to toe. I stared at the dancers on stage without seeing them.
Ethan plopped into a chair next to me. He slapped me on the arm and I looked over at him. The waitress was back, setting two beers on the table. I was about to order Natalie a drink, get it in there that I knew she was coming, that she had texted me as well, that I was still her husband and she didnât just send messages to Ethan.
But Ethan had me beat. âWhoa, darlinâ!â he yelled. âBetter make that three!â He clapped his hands together.
He was looking over my head, at the entrance. I turned, beer in hand, and for a moment I didnât see what he had seen.
And then I did.
It was Natalie, all right. But Natalie 2.0.
She was encased â for really, there was no other word for it â in a black dress that clung to her body and barely even managed to do that. The fabric was some kind of strange material that let a hint of her skin peek through it. I scanned her body, and noted that the sheerness of the fabric seemed to halt at her crotch.
But not really at her tits. The color of her flesh was very clearly the layer beneath the gauzy fabric, and I could distinctly see two dark pebbles where her nipples were.
Her hair was down and she had straightened it. She also seemed to have done something much different with her face â make-up, though I couldnât really say what it was about it that looked so much different. Maybe a lot of mascara, or some eyeliner. Her eyes looked slutty, smokey, enticing. I could see them from across the room, however she had accomplished the effect. They popped, sultry and enticing.
She slinked over to us as I stared at her.
âLook what the cat dragged in,â Ethan said.
Natalie smiled at me. âSurprise!â
âWhat are you doinâ here?â Ethan said, as Natalie slid into my lap.
The dress was very, very sheer, and I knew that both Ethan and I were looking at the same thing: the swell of her breasts and the visible aureole that we both longed to bite into at that moment. Natalie was warm, freshly showered, and soft on my lap. She kicked her feet and turned to me. âI got done early,â she said. âAnd Iâve never been to a stripclub. So I thought Iâd surprise you.â She slid her arms around my neck. Then she looked around, her eyes wide, a faint smile on her lips.
